Connecticut’s Spontaneous Zone is a new source for spontaneous resources, with an interactive component: http://www.ctom.org/sponzone.htm.
Virginia has archived many spontaneous problems; they can be found at http://va.odysseyofthemind.org/weekproblemarchive.html.
We’ve found a wonderful new site for on-line spontaneous problems for your teams to solve at http://www.geocities.com/nepaootmspon. This is the Northeast Pennsylvania Odyssey of the Mind site, and it’s a compilation of some of the problems found at other sites, with some additional problems thrown in. The problems don’t contain the tradition Odyssey format, i.e., they don’t have all the requirements for how the team will respond, judges instructions, etc., but there are many verbal and hands-on activities that are fairly simple to assemble and sure to keep your teams interested. They are good for skills development, but be aware that it is important for teams to be familiar with the format of traditional Odyssey of the Mind spontaneous problems.
